Frequently asked questions

Why do people keep coming back to the Sage?

The tone sits well in almost any room. It is not a statement colour but it has enough character to be noticed. People tend to buy it once and refill it for years.

How does the refill work?

When the wax burns down, swap the insert for a new one. The pot stays. Refill inserts are available separately.

What is the rock-effect overlay?

A second layer applied by hand that gives the surface texture and movement. It means the finish looks different depending on the light and the angle.

How long does it burn?

Around 30 hours per refill. Natural soy wax with a crackling wood wick.

What size is it?

8cm high, 8cm wide.

Candle Care

On the first use, allow your Candle Pot to burn for around 3 hours, giving the wax time to melt towards the edges. Never leave it alight for more than 4 hours at a time.

Before each later use, let the candle cool completely, then gently remove the charred tip of the wooden wick. Keep the wick at roughly 3 to 5 mm. There is no need to trim the wick before its first use.

Place the pot on a level, heat-resistant surface, away from draughts, children and pets. Never leave it unattended or move it while the wax is hot.
